I have countless Hue smart lights running at home, like the Hue Play, Hue Go, Hue HDMI Sync Box, Hue Lily Outdoor Spotlight, Hue Impress Outdoor Pedestal, Hue Outdoor Lightstrip, and more. With the help of the wireless dimmer switch (or having Amazon Echo speakers and smart displays), controlling them is super easy and they also enhance the mood of the room they are in. Not to mention that they also enhance both my gaming experience on the PC and movie watching experience on the TV.
And of course, I’ll always be super excited each time Signify launches new Philips Hue smart lighting products. This time, they are announcing three new gradient-enabled products, new White ambiance Filament bulbs, more powerful smart bulbs, and ceiling lights.

Philips Hue Play gradient light tube
The gradient light tube is a single, long light tube that you can place above or beneath your TV. It comes with either Compact (to fit a 40″ to 55″ TV) or Large (to fit a 60″ TV or larger) size.
It has a subtle design and features the gradient technology which allows a single light unit to blend multiple colours of light.
Works with Hue Sync, so technically you can also place this underneath your PC monitor (which I hope I can give it a test one day).
It’ll be available in 2022 with RRP of A$349.95.
Philips Hue White Ambiance Filament Bulbs
These are vintage-style LED smart bulbs that can brighten the room with its lighting but also its looks. They look pretty, even when they are switched off. The bulbs are now available in White Ambiance, along with White and White & Colour ambiance in variations of 1100 and 1600 lumens.
The Philips Hue White ambiance Filament bulbs will be available in Q4 2021. They will retail for A$49.95 (A60), A$79.95 (ST), A$79.95 (G125).
Philips Hue White, White ambiance, and White & colour ambiance 1100 lumen (75W) bulbs will be available on February 2022. RRPs: White & Colour Ambiance from A$99.95, White Ambiance from A$54.95, White from A$34.95,
Philips Hue White, White ambiance, and White & colour ambiance 1600 lumen (100W) bulbs will be available November 2021. RRPs: White & Colour Ambiance from A$109.95, White Ambiance from A$79.95, White from A$44.95.
Philips Hue ambiance gradient lightstrip (available from September 2021)
If you love Philips Hue lightstrips, you’ll be enjoying this even more. The lightstrip can now blend multiple colours of light at the same time, and perfect to be placed behind your monitor to mimic the content on the entire screen. This will take your gaming or movie watching experience to the next level.
Or behind a furniture, above the kitchen bench, etc. Looks awesome.
Philips Hue ambiance gradient lightstrip is available now September 2021 with RRP of A$239.95 (2m) and A$99.95 (1m).
Philips Hue gradient Signe floor lamp
These are gradient floor and table lamps which will add style to any corner of the room. It will be available in 2022 with RRP of A$469.95.
