Razer Huntsman Signature Edition launches as Ultra-Premium Keyboard Limited to 1,337 units

Razer has just unveiled what might be their most ambitious keyboard project to date, and the specifications alone tell you this isn’t your standard gaming peripheral. The Razer Huntsman Signature Edition combines high-end materials, hand-finished components, and cutting-edge switch technology into what the company is positioning as their flagship keyboard offering.

For hardcore Razer fans, this is an awesome news but you might want to be quick as the stock is limited.

Razer is producing exactly 1,337 serialised units, each one going through an intensive manufacturing process that includes CNC machining, anodising, hand-polishing, PVD finishing, and individual unit inspection. The number choice is a nice nod to leetspeak culture, which long-time gaming enthusiasts will appreciate.

It’s powered by Analog Optical Switches Gen-2 that provides instant actuation with adjustable actuation heights, whilst the True 8,000 Hz HyperPolling delivers extremely low latency input. There’s also Rapid Trigger Mode, which allows for faster key resets with minimal travel distance, something competitive players who need quick repeated inputs will find particularly useful.

The construction itself uses CNC-milled 6063 anodised aluminium for the chassis, providing both structural integrity and a premium finish. There is also a PVD finishing process being applied to key exterior elements. PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) is the same treatment used in luxury watches, jewellery, and performance automotive parts, and on the Huntsman Signature Edition, these surfaces are then hand-polished to achieve a mirror finish that catches light differently depending on viewing angle.

The keycaps are textured doubleshot PBT, and there’s even a mirror-polished metallic triple-headed snake keycap included. These are small details, but they contribute to an overall aesthetic that’s clearly aimed at users who pay attention to build quality and materials.

Speaking of acoustics, the internal architecture uses carefully layered foams and sound-dampening materials to produce what Razer calls a full, rounded typing sound. Each switch sits within this acoustic system to deliver consistent feedback across the entire keyboard. The typing experience has been tuned to appeal more to keyboard enthusiasts who care about sound profiles as much as performance metrics.

The Huntsman Signature Edition comes with a 5-year warranty and retails for $499.99 USD. If it’s out of your budget, you can always stick to the standard Huntsman line (check my recent review on the Huntsman V3 Pro Mini).
