OPPO has launched its first foldable smartphone in Australia with a stylish debut on the runway at the Paypal Melbourne Fashion Festival this week. The new OPPO Find N2 Flip is a style statement for 2023 with foldable form factor and a largest cover screen for a flip phone. It also features OPPO SUPERVOOC fast, flash charging with an all day battery life.
The foldable design of the Find N2 Flip opens to expand the view, reimagining photography possibilities. When closed, the phone snaps shut to easily fit in your jeans’ pocket, the inner pocket of a suit’s jacket, or bag. The screen is virtually crease-free, adding to its aesthetic appeal. And this is the most important aspect about a foldable phone. I mean, it’s the only thing hinders me from having one and I’m truly amazed to see that OPPO has nailed this.

The Find N2 Flip’s vertical orientation and large cover screen offer Aussies the convenience of getting more done without having to open the phone. The 3.26 inch screen displays up to six notifications in one view and makes it easy to reply to messages, record a voice note, and adjust settings or answer a call.

The Find N2 Flip boasts professional-quality photos with its 50MP main camera, co-developed with legendary camera manufacturer Hasselblad. The in-house imaging NPU, MariSilicon X, boosts night video to capture ultra-clear 4K footage in low light.
The Find N2 Flip fits a large 4,300mAh battery and a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ optimised for its compact body, offering an extended battery life. It also features the fastest charging of any flip phone with 44W SUPERVOOC, taking the battery from nearly empty to 50% in just 23 minutes and up to 100% in less than an hour.
MediaTek’s Director of Smartphone Business Unit, Siegfried Chang, said that they spent months working with OPPO’s world-class engineers to optimise their flagship Dimensity 9000+ 5G chip to deliver optimum performance in the N2 Flip, which now ultimately delivers a unique user experience and incredible battery life.
With polished aluminium sides, a fingerprint-resistant glass cover, and a unique micro-etched wave pattern across the hinge, the Find N2 Flip has a stunningly simplified design that is available in two colours: Astral Black and Moonlit Purple. The phone has also been independently certified by TÜV Rhineland to withstand over 400,000 folds and unfolds. So assuming you open and close the phone around 100 times a day, you can do this more than ten years if you do the math. You’ll most likely be having a new phone by then.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip in Astral Black and Moonlight Purple is available to pre-order from the 2nd to the 15th of March and will be on sale on the 16th of March 2023 for AU$1,499 from JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman.
