OPPO has just announced the Reno15 Series for Australia, bringing two new devices built specifically for content creators who shoot, edit, and share everything from their phones. The OPPO Reno15 Pro 5G and OPPO Reno15 F 5G will hit stores from 5 February, with pricing starting at A$679.
The series tackles some of the biggest pain points for modern smartphone users—squeezing everyone into a selfie, keeping the phone alive through a full day of shooting, and creating polished video content without needing a laptop. OPPO has focused on front-camera capabilities, all-day battery life, and video tools that work right out of the camera app.
The new 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera sits at the centre of both devices, offering a 100-degree field of view that changes how group shots and front-camera videos work. Instead of stretching your arm as far as possible or bringing a selfie stick everywhere, the ultra-wide angle captures more people and scenery in frame. Travel vlogs and group content become far more practical when the camera can actually see everyone without distortion.
The Reno15 Pro steps things up further with a 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera featuring an 85mm-equivalent focal length, designed for natural-looking portraits with proper depth and perspective. There’s also a 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera that captures enough detail to allow heavy cropping in post without losing clarity—useful when you want to reframe a shot after the fact.
Both phones include AI Flash Photography 2.0, which uses dual rear flashes for softer, more natural lighting in photos. The front screen flash helps brighten selfies in darker environments, while the AI Portrait Glow feature works in editing to fix problematic lighting in photos that are underexposed, overexposed, or backlit.
Video capabilities have been built around the way people actually create content now. The Reno15 Pro shoots 4K HDR Ultra-Steady Video with strong stabilisation, keeping footage smooth even when you’re walking or moving quickly. Dual-View Video records from both front and rear cameras simultaneously, capturing reactions alongside the action. The Seamless Camera Switch feature allows instant transitions between front and rear cameras during recording, removing the need for cuts and making one-take videos much easier to pull off.
Video Editing 2.0 brings quick editing tools directly into the Photos app, so you can trim, adjust, and polish clips without jumping into a separate app. Combined with the high-resolution sensors across the series, these tools position the Reno15 lineup as a solid option for creators working in short-form video.
Battery capacity is where OPPO has really pushed things forward. The Reno15 Pro packs a 6,200mAh battery, while the Reno15 F goes even bigger with a 6,500mAh cell. Both support 80W SUPERVOOC charging, which should get the phones back to full power quickly when needed. Running ColorOS 16 with the Trinity Engine and AI-optimised performance, both devices aim for smooth scrolling, stable gaming, and reliable connectivity throughout the day.
The Reno15 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 processor, while the Reno15 F uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. Both are supported by AI HyperBoost 2.0 and AI LinkBoost 3.0 for consistent performance and improved signal stability.
The Reno15 Pro takes a different approach to screen size with a more compact 6.32-inch display, designed for one-handed use and wrapped in an aerospace-grade aluminium frame. The Reno15 F offers a larger 6.57-inch 120Hz display for those who prefer more screen space for editing and viewing content.
Both phones carry IP69 water and dust resistance ratings and feature Splash Touch, which keeps the touchscreen responsive even when wet. OPPO has also included a protective case and 80W SUPERVOOC Wall Charger in the box with both models.
The OPPO Reno15 Series launches in Australia on 5 February 2026. The Reno15 Pro 5G is priced at A$1,399 and will be available in Aurora Blue and Dusk Black from JB Hi-Fi and OPPO Australia’s Online Store. The Reno15 F 5G comes in at A$679, available in Aurora Blue and Twilight Black from JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, Big W, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, and OPPO Australia’s Online Store.
