Heads up, Overwatch 2 players! An all new cosmetics have arrived – thanks to the collaboration between Overwatch 2 and the Phantom Thieves (from Persona 5). Persona 5 is an awesome game (check out my review here) and if the Phantom Thieves held a dear to your heart, then this is the moment for you.
In this collab, you’ll see five new Legendary skins based on the Phantom Thieves members: Panther Mercy, Joker Wuyang, Queen D.Va, Fox Lifeweaver, and Skull Genji. Kind of sad that we are still missing a few more like Mona, Oracle, and Violet but we should be happy with what’ve got.
Apart from the Legendary skins, we also get new Highlight Intros, Victory Poses, Weapon Charms, Name Cards, Player Icons, Voice Lines, and Sprays. You can buy them all as a single bundle but if you don’t play all the characters in Overwatch 2, you can also get a bundle PER character. So for example, if you are maining Mercy, you can either just grab her new Panther Mercy skin (which looks amazing) through the Heroes page or the whole bundle for her through the Shop menu.
If you’ve been playing Persona, then you’ll be familiar with the All-Out Attack mechanics and screen – which brings nostalgia if you set it as your character’s Highlight Intro.
You can also participate in the Overwatch X Phantom Thieves event running from 16 – 30 September 2025 where you can earn Morgana’s cosmetics, an extra player title, and a few more voice lines. All you have to do is just play the game as you normally would.
