Overwatch and LE SSERAFIM are teaming up once again, with the latest collaboration bringing six new Made My Night skins to the game alongside new emotes, highlight intros, cosmetics, and plenty more for fans of both Overwatch and the K-pop group.
The latest Overwatch x LE SSERAFIM collaboration runs from 12 to 28 September 2026 and introduces Made My Night skins for D.Mon, Freja, Mizuki, Anran, Sierra, and Moira. D.Mon and Moira receive the more premium Ultra treatment, while the remaining four are Legendary skins. There are also new FEARLESS recolours, returning cosmetics from previous collaborations, challenges, and earnable rewards.
Blizzard kindly provided me with a code for the LE SSERAFIM Ultimate Bundle, so I’ve had the opportunity to check out the complete new collection in-game and there is a lot to like here.
The new Made My Night skins look fantastic
I like all six of the new skins overall, though Anran, Sierra, Moira, and Mizuki are probably my favourites from the collection.
As you would expect from a LE SSERAFIM collaboration, the designs are colourful, stylish, and immediately stand out from the regular Overwatch cosmetics. They also work surprisingly well with each hero’s existing design rather than simply looking like the same outfit copied across six different characters. Some cosmetics go further than simply changing how your hero looks. There are additional visual and sound touches that you’ll notice while actually playing. Sierra, for example, has additional sound effects while firing her weapon.
Personally, I’m not a huge fan of having extra firing sound effects because I’m already very accustomed to Overwatch’s normal audio cues after playing the game for years. But this is very much personal preference, and I can certainly see others enjoying the extra detail and a bit of more fun.
The two Ultra skins for D.Mon and Moira are positioned above the usual Legendary tier and form part of what makes this particular collaboration considerably more expensive than some previous Overwatch cosmetic releases. And this is probably where the discussion gets considerably more interesting.
The Made My Night Ultimate Bundle is priced at 11,800 Overwatch Coins and contains 44 items, including all six of the new skins and their accompanying cosmetics. Individual Legendary hero bundles are listed at 2,800 Coins, while the D.Mon and Moira Ultra bundles cost 4,500 Coins each.
Unsurprisingly, those prices have generated quite a bit of debate within the Overwatch community. There have been players calling for others to avoid buying the skins in the hope that Blizzard will reconsider its cosmetic pricing, while others have argued that they’re happy to spend money on a free-to-play game they’ve enjoyed for hundreds or thousands of hours.
I can understand why people want the skins to be cheaper. If lowering the price means considerably more people can afford them and ultimately generates more sales, that would obviously be great. At the same time, as a software developer myself, I find the idea that everyone should simply stop spending money on the game a little harsh. Overwatch is free-to-play, but the developers, artists, designers, animators, server engineers, and everyone else maintaining the game obviously aren’t working for free.
If players really like the game and have the money to purchase a cosmetic they enjoy, I don’t think there’s anything inherently wrong with supporting it. Plus, everyone should be supporting the game in how ever way they can. The more important question is probably where the right price sits, and I’m certainly not a marketer. Blizzard has access to considerably more sales data than any of us do, so ultimately it will know how these bundles are performing.
LE SSERAFIM and Overwatch
This isn’t LE SSERAFIM’s first appearance in Overwatch either. The original 2023 collaboration was actually Overwatch 2’s first in-game musical artist collaboration and coincided with the release of Perfect Night.
Three years later, the relationship between LE SSERAFIM and Blizzard has become considerably bigger. LE SSERAFIM returned to BlizzCon 2026 as the event’s closing musical act on 13 September, performing live at the Anaheim Convention Center as part of the celebrations surrounding their latest Overwatch collaboration.
I wasn’t expecting LE SSERAFIM to have a full, live performance at BlizzCon so it’s quite a surprise. It was also great seeing the audience enjoying themselves, especially considering how closely associated the group has become with Overwatch over the past few years.
There are still plenty of Overwatch heroes waiting for their turn and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing which ones get a LE SSERAFIM makeover next.
