Targus Australia releases the Targus Truss iPad Case, a stylish two-in-one portfolio (and transformable as an iPad stand) made of leather. Unfortunately the other color combinations (brown and beige) will not be coming to Australia.
Review unit is promised to be sent across to me once they have the stock. Official press release below.
Sydney, 20 July 2010 – Targus is offering one of the most versatile iPad cases around, with the launch of the new Truss Case for iPad. Launching in mid-August, this stylish two-in-one portfolio easily transforms into a stand for hands-free viewing. With its sophisticated silhouette, the Truss not only provides an elegant casing for your iPad but keeps it secure too.
The Truss is constructed from durable top-grain leather which provides a tough exterior against knocks and bumps. The soft suede interior protects against scratches while the wrap-around band secures the case closed when not in use.
To use and view the iPad in the case, the Truss opens like a book, so you never have to remove your device. It also slides easily into a stand, providing a comfortable 45 degree viewing angle for movies, TV shows and slideshow presentations.
Available in black with a blue interior, the Truss Case for iPad is priced at RRP $69.95 and is available for purchase from Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Domayne, Joyce Mayne and Officeworks in Australia.
