Logitech has just announced two new conference cameras designed specifically for larger rooms. The Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro come with serious AI-powered video technology into a nearly invisible form factor that can blend seamlessly into professional spaces.
The Rally AI Camera Pro stands as Logitech’s most intelligent camera to date, while the standard Rally AI Camera focuses on sleek integration into room designs. Both models combine the video quality people loved in the original Rally Camera with advanced intelligence features typically reserved for larger devices.
For the first time, Logitech is offering in-wall mounting options, which means these cameras can practically disappear into boardrooms, classrooms, and town hall spaces. You can mount them on ceilings, TV displays, standard walls, or flush within the wall itself. An automatic shutter clearly shows when the camera is off, addressing privacy concerns.
The cameras use adaptive AI-powered RightSight 2 video framing combined with high-quality optics to tackle one of the biggest problems in hybrid meetings—ensuring remote participants get an equitable experience. The system takes inspiration from moviemaking techniques, switching perspectives in real time to automatically frame the entire group, focus on individual speakers, or arrange participants in a grid layout.
For larger setups, multiple Rally AI Cameras can work together, supporting features like Zoom Intelligent Director and Microsoft Teams’ multiple camera view. This creates dynamic camera angles that keep remote participants engaged rather than watching a static wide shot for an entire meeting.
Both camera models feature custom-designed lenses with 1-inch imaging sensors and 115-degree fields of view, capturing facial expressions clearly even in low-light conditions. The Rally AI Camera Pro adds an optical camera with 15x hybrid zoom, which captures presenters and important details with precision—particularly useful in large town hall settings.
Beyond video quality, these cameras address backend pain points for IT teams and workplace managers. The Rally AI Cameras detect when people are in rooms, how many are present, and how frequently spaces get used. This data feeds into Logitech Sync, giving workplace managers visibility for better space planning. The same people-detection technology automatically books and releases rooms based on actual occupancy, eliminating ghost meetings and wasted space.
From an IT management perspective, setup works through USB or a single category cable when using the optional Rally AI Camera Extension Kit. The cameras integrate with your preferred conference audio systems and connect via WiFi or Ethernet, enabling management through Logitech Sync for remote deployment, updates, and troubleshooting.
