Blizzard Entertainment has revealed the schedule for its 2026 showcase, a series of developer-led spotlights that will unveil major game announcements across the company’s flagship titles including World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Hearthstone and Diablo. The showcase doubles as a celebration of Blizzard’s 35th anniversary, marking three and a half decades of gaming history while setting the stage for what’s ahead, including the much-anticipated return of BlizzCon in September.
Johanna Faries, President of Blizzard Entertainment, shared her thoughts on the upcoming event. “Our extraordinarily talented teams have assembled a stellar line-up for our players across our universes. This major showcase event comes at a significant moment in time as we reflect on three and a half decades of Blizzard history and our big ambitions for the future. This is only the start of what we’ll share around our games this year, and we can’t wait to bring it to life.”
The showcase will run across multiple dates in late January and early February, with each franchise getting its own dedicated spotlight. Players can tune in via Blizzard’s YouTube and Twitch channels according to the following schedule:
- 30 January at 4:00 a.m. AEST/UTC+8 – “World of Warcraft State of Azeroth” on the World of Warcraft YouTube channel and World of Warcraft Twitch channel
- 5 February at 5:00 a.m. AEST/UTC+8 – “Overwatch Spotlight” on the Overwatch YouTube channel and Overwatch Twitch channel
- 10 February at 4:30 a.m. AEST/UTC+8 – “Hearthstone Spotlight” on the Hearthstone YouTube channel and Hearthstone Twitch channel

Alongside the showcase announcement, Blizzard has released “Blizzard: The Next Chapter,” a commemorative video that honours the company’s heritage and history. The video features approximately 400 artifacts from Blizzard’s physical archives, showcasing memorable moments, releases and milestones that have defined the company over 35 years. The collection represents an open invitation to players to continue being part of Blizzard’s story moving forward.
