There are ways to make money both online and offline. But what if you can make money with your iPhone? A new iPhone application from IZEA called WeReward is an application that allows you to collect points with your iPhone (using your online account such as Facebook, Twitter, and FourSquare) and convert the points to real money, paid to your PayPal account.
What you have to do is to actually check in to certain places in the world using the WeReward application and do certain tasks on the place. Tasks are varied – things like giving a feedback on a dish in a restaurant, take a picture of yourself drinking an advertiser’s soda, and other interesting tasks. The harder the task is, the more points you will get. This definitely feels like a game so you’ll have fun while collecting these points!
It also opens to a new and innovative area of advertising! What’s better than giving incentives for customers to spread about your new products or businesses on the social media? I don’t have an iPhone so unfortunately I can’t download and try the application. From the video, it looks like the application is both easy and interesting to use.
I’d have to admit that WeReward might be very addictive. When you were playing an MMORPG game (like World of Warcraft), you’d often say: “I’ll complete one more quest..and I’ll stop playing..I promise..”. Did you stop? Most likely, no and you’d then say “Just one more…”
