Hearthstone is readying its latest, upcoming expansion, TITANS, and it is jam-packed with cutting-edge titan technologies, featuring 145 brand new cards, including 10 Legendary Titan minions. It introduces the new Forge keyword, brings back the Magnetic keyword, and presents a fresh twist on the Classic mode.
The TITANS expansion brings forth 145 new collectible cards and will be available in August 2023. The TITANS Pre-Purchase Mega Bundle offers 80 packs, 5 Golden packs, 1 random Signature Legendary, 1 random Golden Legendary, the Death Knight Inge Hero Skin and cardback, and a Diamond Zilliax Legendary card. The Standard Bundle includes 60 packs, 2 non-golden random Legendary cards, and the Inge cardback. Starting from 28th June AEST, when players log in, they will receive Prison of Yogg-Saron, the first neutral Legendary Location!
New Titan Minions
Each of the eleven Titans possesses a passive ability along with three unique abilities tied to the class it represents. On each turn, you can play one of these abilities, and the Titan can attack normally once all three have been used.
New Keyword: Forge
Cards featuring the Forge keyword can be upgraded while in your hand. Simply drag the card back into your deck for a cost of two mana. This process is known as “forging,” and the card will immediately return to your hand with an upgraded mechanic.
Returning Keyword: Magnetic
Initially introduced in ‘The Boomsday Project’ expansion, the beloved Magnetic keyword is making a comeback in a more prominent way! Cards with Magnetic no longer require board space to magnetise with others, allowing you to build a more formidable lineup.
CLASSIC MODE WITH A TWIST
Starting with Patch 26.6, Hearthstone will bid farewell to Classic Mode and introduce a fresh new Mode called Twist. Twist is a Hearthstone ladder Mode featuring regularly rotating seasons, each with its own rule twist. Twist formats can include curated card pools and special rule sets.
