Edifier has just introduced its ES Series speaker lineup to Australia, and the approach here is pretty practical. Rather than positioning one speaker as the do-it-all solution, the company has developed three distinct models for how people actually listen to music in their daily lives. I think this is a great approach because we listen to music differently (different environment, different taste, etc).
The ES300 serves home entertainment needs, the ES60 handles outdoor adventures, and the ES20 covers portable everyday use. Each model in the Edifier ES Series combines high-fidelity audio with purpose-built design, allowing users to choose based on where and how they listen most.
ES300 Tabletop Wireless Speaker: Room-Filling Sound for Home Use
The Edifier ES300 Tabletop Wireless Speaker targets listeners who want substantial audio performance for everyday home scenarios, whether that’s streaming music during work-from-home sessions, hosting parties, or for watching movies casually.
Powering the ES300 is a 30W+15W*2 RMS output configuration featuring dual silk dome tweeters and long-throw mid-low drivers driven by Class-D digital amplification. The result is balanced audio reproduction across the frequency range with superior sound quality for its category.
Edifier has incorporated TurbMuff Technology to reduce air noise during playback, while MazeTube bass reflex channels deliver deep, controlled low-end response. This combination works well for varied home entertainment applications, from music and podcast streaming to film audio.
Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and wired inputs, making the ES300 compatible with phones, laptops, and smart home configurations. Both Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications ensure detailed playback quality across different content types. So if you also value sound quality, you should be pleased.
The Edifier ES300 Tabletop Wireless Speaker is priced at A$399.
ES60 Portable Bluetooth Speaker: Durable Audio for Outdoor Settings
The Edifier ES60 Portable Bluetooth Speaker addresses outdoor listening scenarios like going to the beach, camping trips, and backyard gatherings where portability and durability matter as much as sound quality.
Inside the ES60 is a 34W RMS output system (18W+8W+8W) comprising an oval mid-low driver, dual tweeters, and a passive bass radiator. This configuration produces punchy, dynamic audio that holds up in open outdoor environments where sound can easily dissipate.
Battery performance reaches up to nine hours of continuous playback, and the lightweight construction makes it easy to transport between locations. IP66 dustproof and waterproof protection means the ES60 can handle sand exposure, water splashes, and changing weather conditions without concern.
For people who spend time outdoors and want their music to follow along, the ES60 delivers the necessary combination of audio performance and environmental resistance.
The Edifier ES60 Portable Bluetooth Speaker retails for A$199.
ES20 Portable Bluetooth Speaker: Affordable Compact Audio for Daily Carry
At the accessible end of the ES Series sits the Edifier ES20 Portable Bluetooth Speaker, designed for commuters, students, and travellers who need reliable sound in a truly compact package.
The ES20’s 6W RMS output through a full-range driver provides clear, balanced audio suitable for personal listening in various settings. A built-in high-sensitivity microphone handles phone calls without requiring users to disconnect from the speaker, which proves useful during commutes or when working remotely from different locations.
Battery life extends to 12 hours of playback, and IP67 dustproof and waterproof certification protects the speaker from the elements during daily use. The compact form factor and $99 price point make the ES20 an accessible entry into quality portable audio for those who don’t need the power of larger models but still want decent sound performance.
The Edifier ES20 Portable Bluetooth Speaker is available for just A$99.
All three models in the Edifier ES Series are now available at Officeworks stores across Australia.
