The original Arlo Ultra (check our review out) is already one of the best wireless security cameras out there with 4K HDR video recording capability. However, if you live in a large house without a good mesh router system, you are going to appreciate the new Arlo Ultra 2 announced by Arlo.
Arlo Ultra 2 Wire-Free Spotlight Camera System comes with all features from the Arlo Ultra, with an enhanced wireless range and connectivity so you can have more options with the camera placement.
The new Arlo Ultra now also supports dual band and can automatically switch between 2.4GHz and 5GHz to optimise between connectivity range and bandwidth. For example, when the placement is not far off from the base station, it should be utilising the 5GHz for more bandwidth and performance.
This should result in quicker live view and a more responsive behaviour when you are using the Arlo app.

Arlo Ultra 2 is available now and retails for A$1,049 for a two-camera kit, A$1,449 for a three-camera kit, and A$449 for an Ultra 2 add on camera. It comes with a 4K trial to Arlo Smart for 3 months.
