The moment is here! The Windows Live Essentials Beta release (Windows Messenger, Mail, Writer, Photo Gallery, Movie Maker, Toolbar, and Family Safety).
I haven’t had the time yet to try and review the changes (especially on Messenger and Writer, which I use most). However, the new release should fix Windows Live Messenger (WLM) custom emoticon bug (where you can’t see your custom emoticon but your friends can). It also appears that on Windows Live Writer, I don’t need to make a dummy post for it to be able to detect and grab my new blog’s theme (Last time I did that, I noticed that my WordPress blog was sending the dummy test post to my subscribers!).
Download the new Windows Live Essentials Beta on Windows Live Download site (web installer, so you can choose what to install and what’s not)
