Sony’s new wireless, noise-cancelling headset, the WH-XB900N, is coming

Sony has just added a new addition to its EXTRA BASS series of headphones with the upcoming Sony WH-XB900N.

It has a Digital Noise Cancelling feature to cut ambient noise out so you can be more immersed in your music. Noise cancellation is a very useful feature especially if you listen to music while you travel (on the train, plane, etc). When I wear my Bose QC35 II or the cheaper Plantronics BackBeat GO 810 while commuting to work or travelling overseas by plane, everything is just more enjoyable to listen to.

When you need to hear announcements, you can just tap the right ear cup to activate the “quick attention” feature. You can also do a swipe for quick music playback and volume controls, accessible at all times.

Sony WH-XB900N has around 30 hours of battery life but you can do a quick charge for 10 minutes, and you’ll get an extra hour of wireless music listening.

It supports all voice assistants like Siri, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant.

If you enjoy listening to music with an extra ‘oomph’, then looks like this will seal the deal.

Sony WH-XB900N EXTRA BASS will be available later in Australia from August for AU$399.95.
