I got an email from BitDefender today about the availability of their new e-guides: how to secure wireless networks and also on safe blogging. According to the press release:
The Securing Wireless Networks Guide offers background and advice on how to shield home networks from intruders, details the risks of running and connecting to unsecured networks, provides insights on when and where extra security is needed and outlines the steps users should take when accessing hotspots.
The Safe Blogging Guide provides some basic guidelines for bloggers and spotlights issues like keeping a user’s blog and identity safe tips on how to determine the difference between self-hosted blogs and those provided as a service by major blog enablers.
