Charge your iPhone 2.5 times faster on the go

At CES 2019, mophie announced new portable battery charger line ups: the powerstation PD (6,700mAh) and powerstation PD XL (10,050mAh).

According to mophie, both chargers will charge the iPhone up to 2.5 times quicker compared to a standard 5W charger (or up to 50% in just 30 minutes).

This is based on a 30-minute charge from 0 percent on an iPhone Xs using a Power Delivery (PD) charger and an Apple USB-C to Lightning cable versus a 5W in-box charger). If you want to know more about Power Delivery (PD) charging, check out this mophie page.

And of course, who doesn’t like fast charging especially when you need it the most?

Both delivers fast charging at 18W and 15W for recharging its internal batteries with the USB-C. There is also an additional USB-A port so you can charge 2 devices at the same time.

When you recharge the powerstation with a wall adapter while having devices plugged, a Priority+ charging feature allows power to be sent to connected devices first before recharging the powerstation. You can always check the charging status and its current battery level through the LED power indicator.

The mophie powerstation PD comes with an RRP of AUD99.95, where as the powerstation PD XL comes with an RRP of AUD129.95. Both are available today on mophie.com and JB Hi-Fi later this month.
