Today I received my Canon EOS 500D (also known as Rebel T1i) loan review unit from Canon and everyone in the office was so excited that we played around with it a little bit. Canon agreed to loan me the unit for a few months and a possibility of having a continuous loan with later models. Thanks, Canon! Now my gadget photos should look crispier than ever *fingers-crossed*.
Planning to have a post about going from a point-and-shoot camera to a DSLR, a “newbie”’s review on the Canon EOS 500D and probably a professional review from a friend of mine.
What I got from Canon:
- The Canon EOS 500D camera (comes with an 18-55mm lens)
- An extra 55-250mm lens (f/4-5.6 IS)
- An 8 GB of SanDisk VideoHD Secure Digital card (capable of storing 120 minutes of HD quality videos)
