Swap your old speaker to a Sonos One!

SONOS Mural

If you are in Melbourne and have a dumb speaker lying around at home (i.e non-smart speaker), there is good news for you. Sonos Australia is organising a “Sonos Dumb Speaker Amnesty” event in Collingwood, Melbourne.

The event will be held during the weekend of 2-3 June 2018 where attendees will get a chance to swap their old, dumb speaker for a brand new Sonos One smart speaker (valued at AU$299).

If you’ve never owned a Sonos speaker before, you should check our reviews on the other Sonos speakers model such as the PLAY:5, PLAY:3 and PLAY:1. We haven’t had a chance to get our hands on the Sonos One yet, but you shouldn’t be disappointed with the sound quality, design, and the versatility.

This opportunity is only for the first 200 people through the doors though, so you might want to RSVP quick and be there as early as you can with your dumb speaker!

Sonos Dumb Speaker Amnesty Event:

When: June 2nd (10am – 4pm) – June 3rd (11am – 3pm)
Where: Besser Space, 15-25 Keele Street, Collingwood VIC

The event will also feature George Rose, an Aussie artist who will be turning old speakers into an art installation on Saturday 2nd June) and muralist Carla McRae (who will create a stunning artwork in real-time on Sunday 3rd June).
