Philips Beardtrimmer Series 7000 Review – Clean-Shave look is out and beards are IN – at least it looks that way here in Melbourne Australia. If you are like me, who either grows his beard to unsightly length and/or in the wrong places or completely clean shaven I look like a meat bun.
Enter Philips Beardtrimmer series 7000, the very first electric beard trimmer I’ve used and I am thoroughly impressed. Finally, I can keep my goatee (yes, it’s unfortunate that I can’t really grow a full beard.) well groomed. Philips Beardtrimmer Series 7000 is easy to use, produces excellent results and its affordable.

Philips Beardtrimmer Series 7000 Review – Desisgn & Features
Philips Beardtrimmer series 7000 is a precision beard trimmer boasting a 0.5mm precision settings which you can adjust from 0.5mm to 10mm in length. The precision setting is displayed digitally on the trimmer which I find very cool aesthetically.
The battery status glows soft white, which goes really well with the chrome, black and blue colour scheme of the trimmer and really gives it that modern look. According to Philips, a 1 hour charge will yield 80 minutes cordless use out of the trimmer. The adaptor is compact which fits perfectly in my bathroom cabinet.
Philips Beardtrimmer series 7000 comes with an integrated vacuum for a much cleaner shaving experience. I always detest the mess on the sink after every shave. Now I’m a reasonably tall person, so the sink is a fair distance from my face. Unless I bend over, the cut hair is guaranteed to find themselves in a very visible and large area of the bathroom.
Fortunately, Philips Beardtrimmer series 7000 comes close to eradicating that issue. The vacuum captures 80-90% of cut hair, so the mess is substantially less.
Philips Beardtrimmer Series 7000 Review – Cleaning and Accessories
Once done with the shave, to clean the trimmer simply rinse the blades and use the comb that comes with the package after the trimmer dries to ensure any loose hair is properly cleaned.
Philips Beardtrimmer series 7000 comes with a spare precision trimmer for longer lifespan, a 3-mm precision comb and a 5-mm precision comb for more precise trimming on difficult uneven area.
A traveling pouch is included, which makes it that much easier to pack and bring for my travels (no more putting shavers in sandwich bags/plastic bags).
Philips Beardtrimmer Series 7000 Review – Shaving Experience & Conclusion
I really enjoyed using Philips Beardtrimmer series 7000. It is quick, clean and really easy to use. My facial hair does not grow in 1 direction, it is very random, which poses a problem for my day to day shave (having to shave from different direction).
Philips Beardtrimmer series 7000 trims so well in that it lifts and guides hairs to the blades which means, no more shaving multiple times from different directions hoping I don’t miss a wild hair. Overall, I do recommend the trimmer for those who prefer a well-trimmed beard over clean shaven look and for those who hates the myriad of stray hair after every shave.
