Razer’s newest mouse design would make Batman proud and it’s insanely light

The Razer Mamba (back in 2010) and Razer Ouroboros were one of the first mice from Razer that would make gamers super excited to unbox and feast their eyes on. During the early days, Razer also usually went all-out with the packaging (just look at that glass display of the original Razer Mamba).

And sure, we’ve then seen Razer innovating from time to time with their flagship mice. For example, the Razer Hyperflux eliminates the need of having a battery inside a wireless mouse and use electromagnetic induction to power the mouse – which is really cool and science-geeky. And then, we had the Razer Viper V2 Pro with just 58 grams of weight to win the battle of who can make it the lightest.

As other game peripheral manufacturers trying to catch up, Razer is at it again. This time, a wireless mouse that looks really good and light that it beats out any competition instantly.

Thanks to years of meticulous craftsmanship and engineering, the Viper Mini Signature Edition is this ultra high-end, hyper-lightweight wireless gaming mouse packed with Razer’s latest and greatest tech. But just stop and look at this beauty. It’d make Batman proud.

Sure, it reminds us with a honeycomb-shell design and that’s been in many other gaming mice in the market. But this meticulous and symmetrical design just beat them all out. It’s not just for the looks though. The mouse is actually made with ultra-durable magnesium alloy exoskeleton chassis which enables a significant reduction in weight but without compromising durability – created using an injection moulding technique.

“The Viper Mini Signature Edition represents the most ambitious design and engineering project we’ve ever undertaken, We wanted to push beyond the traditional honeycomb design and this required a material with an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. After evaluating plastics, carbon fiber, and even titanium, we ultimately chose magnesium alloy for its exceptional properties.”
