The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2c is a compact 51g wireless gaming mouse designed specifically for players with smaller hands or those who prefer claw and fingertip grips. With the advanced HERO 2 sensor, LIGHTSPEED wireless technology, and LIGHTFORCE optical-mechanical switches, this mouse targets competitive gamers who prioritise precision and performance over extra features.

DESIGN AND FEATURES

The most striking aspect of the SUPERLIGHT 2c is its compact dimensions. Measuring 118.4mm in length, 61.4mm in width, and 38.5mm in height, this mouse is noticeably smaller than standard gaming mice (especially after reviewing the SUPERLIGHT 2 DEX. If you have small hands like mine, the 2c feels absolutely brilliant for claw or fingertip grips. The size allows for precise control and comfortable extended gaming sessions without hand fatigue.
However, palm grip gamers should think twice before purchasing. The compact size and lightweight 51g construction make it challenging to rest your entire palm comfortably on the mouse (this is my opinion, at least). This looks to be a mouse designed for specific grip styles rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Logitech developed the SUPERLIGHT 2c through collaboration with over 75 esports athletes from teams including NAVI, G2, Gen G, Dplus KIA, BLG, FURIA, and FlyQuest RED. The extensive testing shows in the refined design, particularly the ultra-thin 0.7mm plate that keeps the mouse compact without sacrificing structural integrity.
The SUPERLIGHT 2c comes with additional grip tape for enhanced control. I tested the mouse extensively without the grip tape applied, and here’s my take: it’s perfectly usable without the tape. I played numerous Overwatch 2 matches and won games without any grip issues (but it can feel slippery). If you want optimal control during intense gaming sessions, applying the grip tape is worthwhile. At 51 grams, adding a tiny bit of extra weight for better grip is essentially trivial. The mouse remains incredibly light even with the tape applied, so there’s minimal downside to using it if you prefer that extra security during aggressive flicks and rapid movements.

The LIGHTFORCE switches are awesome. These hybrid switches combine optical speed and reliability with the satisfying tactile feel of traditional mechanical switches. The result is a bouncy, responsive click with excellent tactile and audio feedback.
This matters more than you might think during gameplay. When playing Overwatch 2 as Cassidy or Ashe, the clear tactile feedback makes it easier to know exactly when my gun fires and when the next shot can be fired with muscle memory. This precision is crucial for executing concussive shots with perfect timing or landing those critical headshots during intense firefights.
The HERO 2 sensor is Logitech’s most advanced gaming sensor, offering up to 44,000 DPI, 888 IPS tracking speed, and 88G acceleration. These specs translate into exceptional real-world performance.
During Overwatch 2 sessions, tracking enemies with this mouse feels effortless. Even during chaotic team fights, I can smoothly follow targets and quickly snap to enemies hiding behind their teammates. The sensor handles both smooth tracking and rapid flicks with equal precision, making it versatile for different playstyles and characters.
Here is an example of gameplay video with the mouse:
The sub-micron tracking accuracy means micro-adjustments are incredibly precise. Whether you’re making tiny corrections for a headshot or executing a 180-degree flick, the HERO 2 sensor responds accurately without any noticeable lag or acceleration issues. At the end of the day however, it also depends on your skill – but having an excellent tool to complement your skill is definitely a must.
LIGHTSPEED wireless technology delivers tournament-grade reliability with up to 8kHz polling rate. Logitech tests their wireless connection for extreme RF environments beyond major LAN events, so you can trust it won’t fail during critical moments. So far, I’ve never encountered any latency issues.
Battery life is impressive at up to 95 hours on a single charge (will vary depending on your polling rate option, etc). The power efficiency comes from the combined optimisation of HERO 2, LIGHTSPEED, and LIGHTFORCE technologies. The mouse charges via USB-C and is compatible with POWERPLAY 2 (sold separately) for continuous wireless charging.
The SUPERLIGHT 2c lacks RGB lighting, and frankly, that’s the right decision. This is a wireless competitive gaming mouse where battery life and performance take priority over aesthetics. RGB lighting adds unnecessary weight and drains battery faster. For a mouse targeting serious gamers, the omission of RGB is a feature, not a limitation.
The featherweight 51g construction makes the SUPERLIGHT 2c particularly excellent for low DPI gamers who frequently lift and swipe the mouse across their mousepad. The minimal weight reduces strain on your arm during extended gaming sessions, making those large sweeping movements less fatiguing.
The zero-additive PTFE mouse feet provide a smooth, pure glide across your mousepad. Combined with the lightweight design, moving the mouse feels effortless and fluid, creating an almost frictionless connection between you and the game.
Logitech G HUB software enables precise sensor calibration with independent X and Y axis adjustments. You can fine-tune lift-off distance to match your grip and movement style, and even sync sensitivity settings from another mouse. The mouse features onboard memory, so your settings persist even when switching between computers.

The 8kHz polling rate requires G HUB software to enable, but once configured, the settings are stored on the mouse itself.
Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2c Review Conclusion

The Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2c is an exceptional compact gaming mouse built for players with smaller hands or those who prefer claw and fingertip grips. The combination of the advanced HERO 2 sensor, responsive LIGHTFORCE switches, and reliable LIGHTSPEED wireless creates a high-performance package that excels in competitive gaming scenarios.
The compact 51g design makes it perfect for low DPI gamers who need to lift and swipe frequently, and the ergonomic form factor reduces arm strain during marathon gaming sessions. The tactile switch feedback and precise sensor tracking provide the control and confidence needed for competitive play, particularly in fast-paced shooters like Overwatch 2.
However, this mouse isn’t for everyone. Palm grip users and those with larger hands should look elsewhere. The compact size that makes it perfect for some players will feel cramped and uncomfortable for others. The lack of RGB and higher price point compared to mainstream gaming mice also limits its appeal to casual gamers.
For competitive players with smaller hands seeking a lightweight, precise mouse designed with pro input, the SUPERLIGHT 2c delivers exceptional performance that justifies its premium positioning. It retails at A$299.95 and is available now at major retailers in Australia.
