If you find that your iPhone’s once off alarm not working in 2011, you are not alone. My friend found the bug and asked me about it. Didn’t believe it myself until I experienced the same thing and that everyone on the net is talking about it.

Simple. For the time being (until Apple fix it), use the recurring alarm on the iPhone’s Clock app or use the Timer (works well too).
This iPhone alarm bug is annoying because Apple just fixed a recurring alarm bug not long ago last year and now there’s a new problem after the fix was being put in place.
Hope this is the last issue we have with the alarm or we all are going to get fired or something for being late.
UPDATE: Seems that the alarm works again after 3rd of January
