Controls

BlueAnt X1i review

There are a few physical buttons on the X1i speaker such as the power button (located at the back), volume up, volume down, and play button. You can also answer incoming calls by pressing the play button.

If you buy two of these speakers, you can pair them to get stereo sound. The duo mode works like the X0i speaker. Even the pairing process is the same.

Firstly, press the power button on the first speaker, then hold down both the volume buttons until it says “duo mode pairing” and release.

Repeat the process on the second speaker, until it says “duo mode connected”.

Sound Quality

BlueAnt X1i speaker has an enhanced dynamic range to make the sound crisper. I’ve been listening to podcasts and music on the BlueAnt X1i speaker.

For podcast listening, the voice sounds clear and crisp. For music listening, it has enough bass and good treble for my taste. No equaliser needed.

It sounds amazing for its $99 price tag and portable size. Given its relatively small size, I highly commend BlueAnt for producing such an ample sounding speaker for its size.

Battery Life

BlueAnt X1i has up to 10 hours of playtime and it is using a USB-C connection (located at the back) to charge it. The USB-C cable is included in the box.
