Microsoft has released the final version of Windows Live Essentials 2011 (for Vista and 7 only). I’ve been using the Windows Live Writer and Messenger 2011 Beta at home every day these few weeks and really loved what they have done. The Messenger is a bit bloated with Facebook and Twitter integration, but you can turn them off and have the good old Messenger window.
If you haven’t installed the beta, this is a good time to try out other great packages such as the Photo Gallery, Mail, or Movie Maker.
