RØDE has today unveiled the third generation of its widely successful Wireless GO microphone system, featuring groundbreaking 32-bit float recording capability and innovative GainAssist technology. The new release marks a significant evolution in portable audio recording, now available in an array of striking colours beyond the traditional black and white options.
The Wireless GO (Gen 3) builds upon RØDE’s established wireless platform while introducing several key advancements for content creators. The system utilises RØDE’s advanced Series IV 2.4 GHz digital transmission technology, delivering crystal-clear audio at distances up to 260 metres with robust 128-bit encryption.
The system introduces several professional-grade features, including over 40 hours of internal 32-bit float recording, ensuring creators never lose their audio to clipping or low levels. The new GainAssist technology automatically optimises audio levels during recording, available in both Auto and Dynamic modes, while a safety channel provides additional recording protection.
Both transmitters feature enhanced omnidirectional microphones with upgraded preamp circuitry, matching the quality found in RØDE’s professional Wireless PRO system. The versatile design maintains the signature clip-mounting system, allowing for quick attachment to clothing or camera equipment.
Connectivity options include both digital (USB-C) and analog (3.5mm TRRS) outputs, ensuring compatibility with cameras, smartphones, computers, and other RØDE Series IV devices. The system also features secure locking lavalier connectors and convenient headphone monitoring with on-board level control.
For the first time in the RØDE Wireless range’s history, the Wireless GO (Gen 3) comes in an expanded colour palette. Beyond the classic black and white options, creators can choose from vibrant red, orange, green, purple, pink, and blue, as well as subtle tones including cobalt, clay, lilac, stone, rose, and moss.
Alongside the Wireless GO (Gen 3), RØDE has introduced the Charge Case+, a dedicated charging and travel case providing two full recharges for extended use and convenient data access for system management.
