Razer announced new gaming headsets with integrated noise cancelling headphones

Razer’s latest Barracuda and Barracuda Pro are joining the Barracuda family, along with a refreshed model of the existing Barracuda X.

The Barracuda Pro is the higher end model, featuring a Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling feature so you can game in peace while having a breakkie in a cafe, or while you are outdoor playing Diablo Immortal while waiting for your train to arrive.

Apart from the ANC, the headset is also packed with a few other technologies from Razer.

Thanks to Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless, you can connect the Barracuda Pro to two devices simultaneously – through the 2.4GHz wireless (to your PC) and Bluetooth 5.2 (to your mobile phone). This way, while you are gaming and a call comes, you can just pick the call up using the headset directly with just a single button press.

There is also a dual integrated beamforming noise-cancelling microphones with up to three levels of noise suppression. This allows you to speak to your teammates clearly even in noisy environment or when you are using a mechanical gaming keyboard with Razer’s Green Switches like the BlackWidow V3 Mini HyperSpeed.

Sound quality didn’t get skipped, of course. The Razer TriForce Bio-Cellulose 50mm drivers are supposed to deliver rich and detailed sound, with its own built-in amplifier – THX Achromatic Audio Amplifier.
