The new Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 will be available from 7 June 2022 (next week) in Australia through retailers like Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi, Officeworks, The Good Guys, and also at the Microsoft Online Store with starting price of A$1,199.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 features a 3:2, 12.4″ PixelSense touch display with improved HD Camera and dual Studio Mics, perfect for those working from home and do a lot of video conferencing with the team. Or if you just want to use the laptop to call families and friends.
The machine is powered by a Quad-core, 11th Gen Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB of RAM, and an option of having 128GB or 256GB SSD to store all your files and the operating system. Speaking of operating system, the machine will come preloaded with Windows 11.
Unlocking the Surface Laptop Go 2 can be done through Microsoft Hello, thanks to the fingerprint recognition built into the power button.
Weighing about 1.12 kg, it’s definitely pretty lightweight to be carried around for travelling, or when you commute from work or school. The Surface Laptop Go 2 is the lightest Surface laptop from Microsoft.
As for connections, it has 1x USB-C port, 1x USB-A port, 3.5mm headphone jack for audio, and 1x Surface Connect port. It’s powered by Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.
According to Microsoft, it has an all-day battery life or up to 13.5 hours to be exact, depending on usage.
Surface Laptop Go 2 is available in a fresh Sage colour, Ice Blue, Sandstone, and Platinum, all in a durable, cool metal finish.
