Microsoft Surface Pro has been around for quite some time in the U.S. Alas, Australians still have to wait before we can get a hands on the device, but not for long now.
Unlike the standard edition of Microsoft Surface which is powered by Windows RT, Surface Pro gives a true Windows 8 experience. This includes installing any standard Windows applications into the device like the desktop experience.
With the Surface Pen, you can quickly jot down any ideas or sketches that come across your mind. Or, you can pass it on to your kids to do some fun drawing games.
The Microsoft Surface Pro is also powered by the Intel Core i5 processor, weighs about 900 grams, and comes in either 64GB ($999 RRP) or 128GB ($1,099 RRP). You can also purchase an extra accessory such as the Type Cover ($149.99 RRP) or Touch Cover ($139.99 RRP).
Surface Pro with Windows 8 will be purchasable online via the Microsoft Store and through JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman retail stores.
