Mozilla Firefox 11 went live today so if you are not on the Beta channel, you can start updating your Firefox rather than waiting for the update notification to pop.

  • You can now migrate your bookmarks, history, and cookies from Google Chrome to Firefox
  • Add-ons can be synchronised across computers
  • Supports CSS text-size-adjust property
  • HTML5 video media controls redesigned
  • Supports outerHTML property in HTML5
  • HTML5 parser is used when viewing source syntax highlighting
  • Security fixes
  • Bug fixe (notifications not working properly with Growl 1.3 or later)
  • For developers: Style Editor for CSS editing is now available
  • For developers: Visualise a web paage in 3D using the Page Inspector 3D View
  • For developers: SPDY protocol support for faster page loads is now testable
  • For developers: Supports HTML parsing in XMLHttpRequest
  • For developers: Files can now be stored in IndexedDB
  • For developers: Websockets has now been unprefixed
