We are halfway through the current season of Overwatch 2, which is Season 15 titled Honor and Glory (started from 18th of February and will end in 22nd of April 2025). And we’ve had lots of updates and fun so far, with the upcoming new DPS Hero, Freja, playtest over the past weekend.
We also have a special collaboration with LE SSERAFIM again – the first collaboration was done around November 2023. This time, we get new cosmetics for some of our heroes which include Ashe, Juno, Illari, Mercy, and D.Va (they didn’t get the LE SSERAFIM skins on the previous collaboration).
Don’t know about you, but I’ve also got to watched the official live streaming announcement with detailed reveal of the new LE SSERAFIM skins over on Twitch. The reveal was nicely done and at the end of it, we also got to see LE SSERAFIM on stage and played some games with Overwatch 2 streamers and collaborators. It wasn’t really a fair game but it’s great to see what they were having fun and the streamers/collaborators were playing it easy too so the ladies could have some fun playing Overwatch 2.
Each cosmetics get the “Fearless” skins which are all Legendary, emotes, Crazy Choreography (they all do the same LE SSERAFIM dance), name cards, victory poses, icons, sprays, etc. You can get a bundle that gives you all these cosmetic items with 35 items in total.

Freja Hero Test
I’ve also got a chance to play Freja, the new upcoming DPS Hero in Overwatch 2. She’s definitely very fun to play with and if you can hit your combo shots, she can eliminate someone completely within 2-3 seconds. She has a high skill ceiling though simply because all her shots are projectiles, including her ultimate ability, Bola Shot (which also has a different projectile speed and cast time).
At such, shooting a flying hero like Mercy or Pharah can be a challenge but not impossible.
I also find that her Take Aim can be a double-edged sword. For example, against Ashe or Widowmaker, you’ll be a sitting duck if you are staying still in the air for too long (I learned this the hard way).
She’s good at bursting a tank down although she excels more at wiping a DPS or Support hero more if your shots are all connecting in sync.
I find myself to be more consistent in dealing damage and elimination with Cassidy and Ashe, but I met someone who was really good at Freja and she was a real trouble. The good thing about Overwatch is that everyone can master different heroes according to their skills and playstyle, so you don’t have to main Freja – as cool as she looks and sounds.
If you haven’t watched yet, check out her video gameplay trailer and other videos (they all are worth a watch):

And lastly, it’s Widowmaker’s turn this time to get her own Mythic weapon skin – available as a real-money purchase or in-game with your Mythic Prisms.
