BOOX Go 10.3 Gen II Series E Ink Tablets target Digital Nomads with Ultra-Thin Design

BOOX has expanded its E Ink tablet lineup with the Go 10.3 Gen II Series, launching two new 10.3-inch ePaper devices aimed at professionals who need distraction-free reading and note-taking on the move. The range includes the standard Go 10.3 Gen II and the Go 10.3 Gen II Lumi, both shipping with the InkSense Plus stylus included in the box.

The key difference between the two models comes down to lighting. The standard Go 10.3 Gen II skips the front light entirely, which means you get pure ink-on-surface visuals that work brilliantly under direct sunlight. The Lumi variant adds adjustable dual-tone front lights, letting you switch between cool daylight tones and warm amber glows depending on your environment. Both models share the same high-definition 300 PPI monochrome ePaper display that handles outdoor readability without breaking a sweat.

Thickness is where these tablets really impress. The standard model measures just 4.6mm thin, while the Lumi version sits at 4.8mm. Despite the slim profile, BOOX managed to fit a 3,700mAh battery inside, which translates to weeks of use on a single charge when you’re not constantly running WiFi and Bluetooth. For anyone working across multiple locations, that kind of battery performance removes one more thing to worry about.

The included InkSense Plus stylus supports 4,096 pressure sensitivity levels along with tilt recognition, giving you proper control when sketching or taking handwritten notes. BOOX has bundled digital organisation tools like Lasso, Insert, Outlines, and Tags to help keep your notes and brainstorming sessions structured without needing to jump between apps.

Running Android 15 under the hood, the Go 10.3 Gen II Series gives you access to the Google Play Store for installing third-party apps. An upgraded octa-core processor handles multitasking and app performance, so this generation runs noticeably faster than previous models while maintaining that eye-friendly, low-distraction interface that E Ink devices are known for. You get 64GB of storage out of the box, and the tablets support 26 digital file formats, which means you can carry around extensive document libraries without worrying about compatibility issues. The built-in NeoReader app offers customisable reading and annotation features for digital books.

Pricing breaks down as follows: the BOOX Go 10.3 Gen II Lumi (with front light) retails for $449.99 in the US Market ($429.99 Standard), while the standard Go 10.3 Gen II costs $419.99 in the US Market ($399.99 Standard). Both models are available now from BOOX US and BOOX EU stores.
