Roborock Technology has launched its latest flagship product, the S8 line of robot vacuum cleaners, consisting of three models: the Roborock S8, Roborock S8+ and Roborock S8 Pro Ultra. With the highest suction power on the market, dual roller brushes and 3D obstacle avoidance, the S8 series is a complete and one-stop cleaning solution for Australian consumers.
According to Jade Tang, Head of Marketing at RoborockANZ, the S8 series features the most powerful cleaning system available in the Australian robot vacuum market. The series is powered by Roborock’s strongest suction ever, at 6000Pa, and a newly introduced dual rubber roller brush that improves dirt pick up and is more effective in resisting hair tangles, making it convenient for those with pets.
The brush on the S8 Pro Ultra can automatically lift for up to 5mm under the mop-only mode and when the robot vacuum returns to the dock, preventing cross-contamination in both instances. The S8 series is also equipped with Roborock’s latest obstacle recognition and avoidance system that can identify and remember various objects on its path and manoeuvre around them.
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most premium of them all, features Roborock’s VibraRise system that has been given a major upgrade to VibraRise 2.0, with not just one but two vibration points and unique Sonic Vibration Technology that allows the mop to scrub floors up to 3000 times per minute, leaving flooring surfaces spotless.
The S8 series is equipped with Roborock’s latest 3D obstacle recognition and avoidance system, which enables it to identify and remember various objects on its path and manoeuvre around them. The Roborock RockDock Ultra, introduced with the S8 Pro Ultra, allows for automatic dustbin emptying, mop washing, and drying to prevent mould growth and odours on the mop pad and dock. The dock also allows for remote temperature control via the mobile application.
The S8+ and S8 models are equipped with the same powerful suction and 3D obstacle avoidance system as the S8 Pro Ultra. The S8+ additionally features an auto-empty dock station that allows the machine to self-empty for up to seven weeks without the need to change dust bags.
The Roborock S8 series is available for pre-order from the 7th to the 28th of April 2023 and all pre-order customers will receive a free matching Roborock Accessories Kit valued at AU$149.90 (valid to redeem until the 30th of May 2023). The series will be available for purchase in May from JB HiFi, Harvey Norman, Godfreys, BingLee, David Jones, Mobileciti, Robot Specialists, and Roborock Online Store. The Roborock S8 retails at AU$1,199 RRP, the S8+ at AU$1,899 RRP, and the S8 Pro Ultra at AU$2,699 RRP.
