Paper shredder on steroids

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fellowes, Inc. for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Shredding papers with a paper shredder is fun but the horror starts when you have to waste minutes in front of one, trying to shred hundreds of pages by feeding papers into the machine one at a time. Not to mention the hassle of having to unstaple the documents first before you can start the horrible process.

I would never imagine that a more practical solution is possible. Thankfully, Fellowes listens and has taken paper shredders into the next level with ground breaking features and all the things that would make any paper shredder user screams in excitement.

Fellowes was founded in 1917 and has been investing in personal shredders since 1990. Their latest paper shredders, the AutoMax (300c and 500c), features a hands free, auto-feed technology. With a printer, all you have to do is place a bunch of blank papers in the tray and you are all set to print anything, anytime. With the new AutoMax paper shredders, all you have to do is place the papers that you want to shred in a tray, and simply walk away.

You don't even need to unstaple the documents. That's right. The new Fellowes AutoMax paper shredders can shred stapled documents, documents with paper clips (sounds crazy), crumpled paper, glossy papers, DVD/CDs, and more. Just "throw" them all into the bin/tray and use the touch screen controls to start the shredding process. Then, simply walk away and resume your activities. The machine will shred the papers for you (continuously on the 500c model and 30 minutes maximum run time on the 300c model). It's like throwing any rubbish into the bin and forget about it.

It gets even better. You can also lock the bin/tray to avoid peeping Tom from peeking into the documents being shredded while you are away (SmartLock feature). The Fellowes JamGuard System will ensure jam-free paper shredding sessions. The machines themselves should be fairly quiet (thanks to the SilentShred technology) but if you prefer, you can schedule the machine to run at a particular time (such as after working hours). Really handy.

Here is the official video from Fellowes that would pretty much tell you all about the new AutoMax model.

If you are looking for a new paper shredder or an upgrade to your current one, make sure to check the AutoMax over at Fellowes AutoMax official page. I'm thinking to get one now just to feel the new, fun experience in paper shredding.
