EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra Arrives in Australia with Whole-Home Backup Power Capability

EcoFlow has brought its next-generation home battery system to Australia, targeting households and businesses that need serious backup power when the grid fails. The new DELTA Pro Ultra launched on 14 August 2025, promising up to one month of reliable power for entire homes through its expandable design.

The DELTA Pro Ultra stands out with its stackable architecture, starting at 6kWh capacity but scaling up to 30kWh when multiple units are connected. Each unit delivers 6900W output, which means it can handle heavy appliances like air conditioners, ovens, and hot water systems without breaking a sweat. This kind of power output makes it particularly relevant for Australian conditions where air conditioning can be essential during extreme weather events like a 45 degree Celsius temperature.

Beyond standard AC power and solar panels, it can also charge from gas generators, giving users multiple backup options during extended outages. The MultiCharge technology pushes the system to 80% capacity in just over an hour, which could be crucial when storm warnings give limited preparation time.

For remote properties and outback locations where grid reliability is already questionable, the DELTA Pro Ultra offers genuine energy independence. Small businesses that can’t afford downtime during blackouts will find value in the system’s ability to maintain operations. Solar system owners can use it to store excess energy generated during the day and reduce their electricity bills by using stored power during peak pricing periods.

The system includes advanced energy management through EcoFlow’s mobile app, allowing users to control individual appliances, schedule loads, and track energy costs remotely. The EV-grade LFP battery technology is designed for over 10 years of daily use with 3,500+ charge cycles, backed by EcoFlow’s X-Cooling technology for improved efficiency and reduced noise.

Installation appears straightforward with the modular design requiring no wall mounting. Connection happens through a manual transfer switch that allows safe switching between grid and battery power without the complexity of automatic systems.

The pricing structure requires purchasing the inverter and at least one battery as a bundle for AU $7,598. Additional batteries can expand the system, with configurations ranging from AU $11,587 for two batteries up to AU $23,594 for a five-battery setup delivering maximum capacity.

The EcoFlow DELTA Pro Ultra is available now through EcoFlow’s Australian website, eBay Australia, and Amazon Australia.
