CORSAIR launches Vanguard Pro 96 and Vanguard 96 Gaming Keyboards with integrated LCD Screen and Stream Deck Integration

CORSAIR has launched two new gaming keyboards that pack serious features into a compact footprint. The Vanguard Pro 96 Hall Effect Gaming Keyboard and Vanguard 96 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard bring together CORSAIR’s keyboard expertise with fresh innovations that gamers and content creators have been asking for.

Both keyboards feature a 96% layout that manages to fit the functionality of a full-sized keyboard into a space similar to a tenkeyless design. This means you get the number pad, arrow keys, and F-keys without taking up your entire desk. The standout addition here is the integrated 320 x 170 full colour LCD screen, which allows users to display animations, images, or system stats right on the keyboard itself.

The Vanguard series introduces native Elgato Virtual Stream Deck integration, letting users map Stream Deck actions directly to the six programmable G-keys. This integration works through the Stream Deck app, and you can create custom Virtual Stream Deck profiles for different games. There’s also an on-screen overlay option that opens and closes with a single button press, which proves useful whether you’re grinding in an MMORPG or editing video content.

The Vanguard Pro 96 focuses on competitive performance with CORSAIR’s MGX Hyperdrive Hall Effect Magnetic switches. These switches support 8,000Hz hyper-polling, Rapid Trigger technology, adjustable actuation points, and dual actuation capability. FlashTap SOCD technology is also included for those who need the competitive edge.

Both keyboards come with four layers of sound dampening, hot-swap compatibility for switches, a rotary dial, and customisation through CORSAIR Web Hub. The Web Hub compatibility means you can adjust RGB lighting effects, remap keys, and record macros directly through a web browser without needing to install additional software. This works alongside the CORSAIR Firmware Update Utility to keep things streamlined.

The pre-lubed CORSAIR MLX or MGX switches (depending on the model) are designed to handle both intensive gaming sessions and productivity work. The keyboards support the new naming scheme CORSAIR is rolling out to better distinguish between product lines going forward.

It’s worth noting that the Stream Deck integration feature is slated to ship in Q4 2025, so early adopters will need to wait a bit for that functionality to arrive.

The Vanguard Pro 96 and Vanguard 96 are available now from the CORSAIR webstore and authorised retailers and distributors worldwide. We are currently reviewing the Vanguard Pro 96 so stay tuned for the review here at Craving Tech!
