Xbox has announced a new partnership with V (formerly VIDAA) that brings cloud gaming directly to select Hisense and V homeOS-powered smart TVs throughout 2026. The move represents another significant expansion of Xbox’s cloud gaming ecosystem, allowing players to stream games without needing a dedicated console.
Through the Xbox app on supported TVs, Xbox Game Pass subscribers across Ultimate, Premium, and Essential tiers will gain access to hundreds of games via Xbox Cloud Gaming. This includes major titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (which has won many awards), all streamable directly through the television interface.
The partnership centres on flexibility and accessibility. Xbox Game Pass subscribers get unlimited cloud gaming access, extending their gaming experience across multiple devices. The service also supports select games that players already own, not just those available through the Game Pass library.
Xbox plans to share more specific details about the cloud gaming experience on Hisense TVs in the coming months. For updates on availability, supported TV models, and feature rollouts, players can follow Xbox Wire and the company’s social channels throughout the year. This partnership continues Xbox’s strategy of bringing gaming to players wherever they are, rather than requiring them to be at a specific device or location.
