Sony – Xperia™ Tablet S

Sony Xperia

The Sony Xperia™ Tablet S, powered by the Android 4.0.3 Android operating system, has a classy design and features a slim aluminium and splash-proof screen.

It has a 9.4 inch display size with a 1280×800 resolution. Powered by the NVIDIA Tegra 3 Mobile processor (clocked at 1.3 GHz) and 1 GB Memory, the tablet should run the Android operating system smoothly. It has an option of a 16GB, 32B, or 64GB, but you can add an SD memory card to extend this storage even further. The front camera has a 1296 x 808 resolution (1 Megapixel) and the back camera has an HD 3264 x 2448 resolution (8 Megapixels).

But what makes this Xperia™ Tablet from Sony unique is the included features such as the Guest Mode, Watch Now, and other bundled applications from Sony. With the Guest Mode, you can easily create different profiles on the tablet when a regular friend comes in. Or you can create different profiles for different family members too.Xperia S profiles

This ensures unique experiences for each member of the family in your house (with their own background wallpaper and other customisations). It also means everyone is free to do what they want with the screen. Ever got upset when your kids are messing around with your apps layout? Just give them their own profile so your mind can rest at ease.

The Sony Sociallife is a great app for social media enthusiasts which combines social media feed of the people closest to you in one, nice, and sleek interface. You can grab the Sociallife application on Google Play for free. From the screenshots and application information, it looks like it's going to be my favorite app if I have the Xperia™ Tablet S myself.

With the Universal Remote Control, you can control your songs from your music collection and also change the TV channels with the tablet. If you are thinking to carry the tablet outside (why wouldn't you?), the battery provides up to 12 hours of standard usage.

Combined with the apps from Android, the Sony Xperia™ Tablet S is a great addition to your gadgets at home – if you want an Android tablet, that is. Do any of you have the Xperia™ Tablet S? Feel free to share your experience with it here on this post as well. If you don't have one, be sure to check the tablet out on their page.
