OPPO’s latest A Series phone, OPPO A78 5G, comes with 33W SUPERVOOC and 50MP Main Camera

OPPO has launched the new A78 5G in Australia, featuring a 5,000mAh battery and 33W SUPERVOOC charging technology. The phone retails for A$359 and has a sleek design with the iconic OPPO Glow. It also comes with the latest ColorOS 13 for convenient and efficient features.

According to OPPO Australia’s Managing Director, Michael Tran, the A78 5G is a game changer that combines cutting-edge hardware and software. It has a 50MP camera and is both economical and feature-rich.

The A78 5G’s battery can be fully charged in 67 minutes with 33W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge and provides up to 22.85 hours of phone calls on a full charge. The phone also includes All-Day AI Power Saving features to intelligently manage battery performance and extend battery life. Super Power Saving mode saves battery for emergencies while Super Night Standby limits power consumption during sleep to just 2%.

The OPPO A78 5G has a 50MP main camera, a 2MP self-portrait lens, and an 8MP front camera. It also features 108MP Ultra-Clear Image technology and smart imaging features like AI Portrait Retouching and Ultra Night Mode. The phone has Dual Stereo Speakers and Real Original Sound Technology for immersive audio.

It has a 6.56-inch Colour-Rich Display with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. It has a striking design with polished rings around the camera module and the iconic OPPO Glow process on the backplate.

The A78 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 platform with an efficient Octa-Core Processor. It has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB with an SD card. OPPO’s RAM Expansion technology can increase RAM by up to 4GB for smoother multitasking.

The OPPO A78 5G is available in Glowing Black and Glowing Blue. Priced at A$359, the phone is available from today at Optus, JB Hi-Fi, Big W, Officeworks, The Good Guys and Bing Lee.
