Motorola launches expansive 2026 Smartphone and Accessory lineup

Motorola has just unveiled its biggest product launch in Australia to date, bringing a comprehensive range of smartphones and accessories that span from ultra-premium photography flagships right through to everyday essentials.

The collection includes the brand-new Motorola Signature, Motorola Edge 70, Motorola Edge 70 Fusion, Moto G67, plus an expanded ecosystem of wearables and accessories including the Moto Watch, Moto Pen Ultra, and several new earbud options.

The lineup marks a significant expansion for Motorola in the Australian market, with the Motorola Signature representing the company’s most ambitious photography-focused device yet.

Beyond the flagship, there’s also a special collaboration worth noting. Motorola has partnered with Swarovski to create a limited edition Motorola Edge 70 featuring crystal embellishments and a silk-inspired finish in PANTONE Cloud Dancer, which happens to be the Colour of the Year for 2026. This continues Motorola’s Brilliant Collection strategy of merging premium materials with fashion-forward design.

The Motorola Signature brings some serious camera hardware to the table. It’s built around advanced Sony LYTIA 828 sensors and earned the DXOMARK Gold Label for photographic excellence, which places it among the top-tier camera phones currently available. The device also supports cinematic Dolby Vision capture, allowing users to record video content with enhanced dynamic range and colour accuracy.

Performance comes courtesy of the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, enhanced with advanced AI capabilities for handling intensive tasks and intelligent photography features. The design philosophy centres on precision craftsmanship, featuring an ultra-thin profile wrapped in a precision-crafted aluminium frame. Motorola has opted for unique finishes including luxury twill-inspired and linen-inspired materials that add a tactile element to the overall experience.

The Motorola Edge 70 pushes the boundaries of how thin a smartphone can be while maintaining full functionality. At just 5.99mm thick and weighing 159g, it’s remarkably light and slim, yet Motorola has managed to pack in a 4800mAh silicon-carbon battery that delivers all-day performance.

Camera performance remains a priority with a triple 50MP camera system featuring PANTONE-validated colour and skin tone accuracy. This means photos should maintain consistent and accurate colour reproduction, which is particularly important for content creators and anyone who shares photos across different platforms and displays.

The special edition Motorola Edge 70 in PANTONE Cloud Dancer with Swarovski crystal embellishments adds a premium touch to the lineup. This variant sits within Motorola’s Brilliant Collection and represents the company’s continued push into the fashion-tech crossover space. Beyond aesthetics, the Edge 70 maintains the same core specifications as the standard models, available in PANTONE Lilypad, PANTONE Bronze Green, and PANTONE Gadget Grey.

For those seeking a more accessible option, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion steps in with its own compelling feature set. It’s built around the Sony LYTIA 710 sensor for advanced photography capabilities, paired with a 32MP selfie camera that supports 4K recording. The standout specification here is the massive 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which should provide extended usage well beyond a single day for most users.

Design-wise, the Edge 70 Fusion features a quad-curved display with nylon and linen-inspired finishes, creating a sophisticated look and comfortable grip.

Motorola is branching out beyond smartphones with several new accessories that integrate into a broader ecosystem. The Moto Watch represents the company’s first venture into smartwatches, developed in partnership with Polar for fitness tracking capabilities. The design features a 47mm stainless steel frame with underwater protection, combining durability with a refined aesthetic.

Battery performance is particularly impressive, with up to 13 days of use on a single charge, and a quick charge feature that delivers a full day’s battery in just five minutes of charging.

For Motorola Signature users, the Moto Pen Ultra transforms the phone into a digital canvas and productivity tool. It features an ultra-fine precision tip for natural writing and sketching, enhanced by AI-powered tools for note-taking and creative work.

Rounding out the audio lineup are the Moto Buds 2 Plus, Moto Buds 2, and a premium Moto Buds Loop variant in PANTONE French Oak with Swarovski crystals. The Buds 2 Plus retail for A$159 in PANTONE Bright White and PANTONE Silhouette, while the standard Buds 2 are priced at A$99 in PANTONE Carbon. The crystal-embellished Buds Loop sit at A$399, also available in PANTONE Trekking Green.
