eufy Launches POE NVR Cameras with fully integrated on-device local AI capabilities through ProSecure system

eufy has launched its POE NVR Security systems in Australia and New Zealand. The ProSecure System marks the brand’s first NVR-POE security solution powered by integrated large AI model technology called the “Local AI Agent”. These five new systems use advanced AI technology to create instant responses to movement and activity on properties, deterring potential threats before they escalate.

The launch covers systems for different household needs, with a combination of camera form factors. It’s equipped with triple lens camera with pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) functionality. The system also comes with bullet cameras or turret cameras, giving users varying options depending on their setup requirements.

The E40 and E41 systems use eufy’s NVR technology, but the S4 Max System and S4 System take things further with eufy’s new PTZ cameras. These combine a 4K fixed bullet camera with a 2K dual-lens PTZ camera, delivering both wide-angle coverage and close-up detail in a single device. The bullet camera provides a 122° field of view, and the PTZ camera offers 360° detailed tracking. When the bullet camera detects a target, the PTZ camera automatically locks on, tracks, and follows the subject without manual intervention.

The cameras feature Intelligent Auto-Framing that automatically zooms in on individuals up to 50 metres away to capture clear details, and zooms out for groups to ensure everyone stays in view. Whether tracking a single person or multiple subjects, the system captures moments with precision. The dual motion detection system combines radar and passive infrared (PIR) technology to accurately identify human and vehicle movement, minimising false alerts that can frustrate users. When an intruder approaches, red and blue warning lights activate alongside a 105dB siren, delivering a visual and auditory deterrent.

The ProSecure system utilises the Local AI agent to detect, analyse and respond to suspicious activity. Features like Vehicle Behaviour analysis track what happens near users’ cars. Flagged behaviour includes intruders shining flashlights inside cars searching for valuables left on seats, or strangers pulling on door handles to determine whether vehicles are unlocked. Once the ProSecure system detects those types of suspicious actions, an automatic alert is sent to police to catch suspects before they can escape.

The advanced AI integrated into the ProSecure system also provides proactive protection from thieves targeting deliveries. The system can quickly scan clothes, behaviour and posture to separate the friendly courier dropping off a package from a thief seeking to steal that same package. Once a suspected thief has picked up the delivery, an instant alert is sent to police to stop the theft as quickly as possible.

The Qualcomm DragonwingTM IQ8 Series chipset plays a key role in the advanced AI integration within the ProSecure System. The Dragonwing IQ 8 Series is designed for peak on-device AI performance, and Qualcomm and eufy have jointly developed the Local AI capabilities for smarter and safer home and property protection, all whilst ensuring data privacy remains intact.

The NVR POE Cameras offer 24/7 recording capabilities with several notable features. The Tri-Cam Bullet/PTZ camera includes a Bullet cam with 4K resolution and PTZ cam with Dual 2K resolution. Users get 360° pan and tilt flexibility to eliminate blind spots, along with 8x digital Zoom (5x digital plus 3x optical) with full clarity up to 20 metres away.

The system offers seamless live cross-camera tracking to capture movement on multiple eufy cameras simultaneously. The Network Video Recorder (NVR) includes 2 TB onboard memory, expandable up to 16 TB, with 24/7 NVR recording for up to 16 channels at a time. AI-ISP Color Night Vision is included, and there are no monthly subscription fees to store or access video. Expandable accessories include long-range video transmission up to 2.01 km.
