Today I have a chance to review the blue colored Denon Exercise Freak earpieces. It comes with an elegant neat black and yellow packaging. It’s indeed a very nice package, definitely makes you have a desire to keep the box. The box contains the earpieces, a carrying case with a carabiner, four different sizes of antimicrobial eartips, and a manual.

Denon Exercise Freak earpieces are sweat-proof, have a flexible in-ear piece, and a flexible neckband that sits loosely on the back of your neck. The reflective part on the band has a purpose meant for people who love to do outdoor exercise, especially running.

Denon Exercise Freak earpieces are equipped with a built-in microphone to receive phone calls from any Bluetooth capable smartphones. You can simply push the earpiece button to switch from music to calls and back again.

Denon Exercise Freak is a Bluetooth 3.0 device that has a built-in rechargeable battery capable to deliver up to 7 hours battery life. Micro USB cable is supplied to recharge the earpieces. Tested on my Android phone and iPhone, I found no problem pairing with earpieces. It works very well with an iPad but it kind of defeats the purpose of this sporty earpieces.

Denon earpieces comes with a free companion app called Denon Sport app. The app is available in Android Google Play store and iPhone App Store. The app allows you to track your workouts, similar to apps like Runkeeper.

The last and the most important bit of this product is the sound. I found Denon Exercise Freak serves superior sound quality, plenty of bass, while it’s not distorted. Volume rocker is easy to reach as well. Earbuds give decent amount of passive noise isolation and they comfortably sitting on your ears.

This product is really an excellent choice for active people who love to hear very high quality stereo sound. However, I advise you who own this product to mind the volume while you are doing your workout for your and others safety.
