HP recently announces the new ZBook Ultra G1a, a high-performance laptop with ground-up AI revolution packed into a sleek 14-inch mobile workstation.
With the rise of AI-driven workflows, having the right tools is becoming more essential for professionals, creatives, and businesses that demand uncompromising productivity. ZBook Ultra G1a redefines what’s possible with on-device AI processing, cutting-edge security, and unmatched portability, by making AI an integral part of both work and personal computing.
Unlike traditional workstations that retrofit AI capabilities, ZBook Ultra G1a was designed with AI as its core philosophy. At its heart lies the AMD Ryzen AI Pro MAX processor, featuring 16 Zen 5 CPU cores, 40 RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics cores, and an AMD XDNA 2 Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with up to 50 TOPS of AI processing ability.
One of ZBook Ultra G1a’s latest features is its ability to work locally with LLM. This means local AI processing with no cloud dependency. Everything happens on-device, ensuring privacy, speed, and reliability.
ZBook Ultra G1a comes Microsoft CoPilot AI integration for AI-assisted workflows. It allows you to perform AI-powered settings adjustments such as brightness, performance modes, and so on. It’s Poly Camera Pro features AI-enhanced video conferencing with auto-framing, background blur, and real-time translations.
All of this is made possible by up to 128GB unified memory (of which 96GB assignable RAM to the GPU) which is powerful enough for seamless 3D rendering.
Promising long battery life, this relatively thin and lightweight workstation also features Wolf Security for Business, ensuring enterprise-grade resilience against external attacks and emerging cyber threats. In addition to the expected Lost/Stolen PC capabilities (ie. remotely locate, lock, disconnect, and/or wipe data), the in-built AI takes it even further with things like Visual hacking protection, detecting onlookers and auto-blurs the screen if needed.
HP ZBook Ultra G1a is expected to be available on HP.com on 1st April 2025, with an RRP starting from AU$3,000.
