Showdown in the Badlands expansion went live a couple of months ago with 145 new cards to unpack and master. However, the team doesn’t just stop there. With Delve into Deepholm, Hearthstone players are getting 38 new cards through the mini set.
These 38 new cards include new dual-class cards (cards that can be used in two different Hero classes), two new neutral Legendary minions, and all new Excavate cards – perfect for those who are utilising excavate decks.
The Dual Class cards include both minions and spells, and each Hero class gets four dual-class cards so this will come in handy to further complement your decks.
And of course, nothing is more exciting than getting new Legendary cards. With Delve into Deepholm mini set, you’ll be getting a few Legendary cards including Therazane and Deepminer Brann. Therazane is a must-have card if you are playing Elemental minions as she will double your minions’ stats (both in your hand and deck), plus she’s also a Taunt minion with pretty high attack stats. Deepminer Brann is also a must-have addition if you are playing a deck with no duplicates. As soon as you play him, your Battlecries will trigger twice for the rest of the game. So even if he gets removed after you play him, it doesn’t matter as the effect is permanent.
How about the other cards? There are certainly powerful, new cards as well such as a minion stealing card like Shadow Word: Steal (which is also a dual class card for Rogue and Priest), Crystal Cluster (can give you three, free 3/7 Elementals with Taunt), and Shattered Reflections (add a copy of a minion in the battlefield into your hand, deck, and battlefield – imagine getting free copies of a powerful Titan).
All these new cards can either be opened in Showdown in the Badlands packs or purchased as a complete 72-card set (includes one copy of each Legendary card and two copies of each other card in the Mini-Set). Normal versions of the Mini-Set can be purchased for $14.99 or 2000 Gold. The all-Golden version of the Mini-Set can be purchased for $69.99 or 10,000 Gold. The Golden Mini-Set option also includes a bonus Diamond Legendary card.
