Man, that’s a lot of “illion”! Apple has just released its financial results for its fiscal 2015 first quarter ended December 27, 2014 (Q4 2014). The news may not surprise everyone, as we all know how successful the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have been. But selling 75.4 million of iPhone blew some mind.

As we know, Apple had problems with the iPhone 6  and 6 Plus supplies last year (and probably still is now), so they could technically be selling even more iPhone if supplies weren’t scarce.

According to Apple’s investor press release, the company record a revenue of $74.6 billion and record quarterly net profit of $18 billion. Note that it’s $18 billion profit in ONE QUARTER. Not in a year. That’s just sick.

“Our revenue grew 30 percent over last year to $74.6 billion, and the execution by our teams to achieve these results was simply phenomenal.”, says Tim Cook.

Looks like making a bigger screen iPhone pays off at the end, no matter what Steve Jobs said about people hating big phones. As we consume content more often these days on a phone, a larger screen definitely offers a better experience – at the expense of using the phone one hand. To most, it’s a small price to pay.
