Safari Extensions in Safari 5
Don’t want to get left behind by Firefox and Chrome, Safari 5.0.1 now supports Safari Extensions! During the launch, there are already some amount of extensions available for you to download and install.

I quickly tried updating my Safari 5 to 5.0.1 and downloaded a few extensions to try. The process was really easy, similar to the experience of installing applications on the iTunes. Simply press a button and it will be installed straight away to Safari. You don’t even have to restart Safari!

and of course, the extensions are opened for developers so let’s hope that there will be great and more useful extensions in the future (assuming you are using Safari to browse, of course)
