Which iPhone Models Will Support iOS 18?

This news is good news for those who using the newer models of the iPhone. With the release of iOS 18, Apple devices ranging from the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 13, iPhone 14, iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max will also be available.

These models include iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11 of all types, iPhone 12 versions, and second and third models of iPhone SE iPhone 13 and 14 models as well. Nevertheless, iPhones less than iPhone XR shall not be compatible with iOS 18. It is believed that the update will contain innovations based on the newest proprietary development by Apple known as “Apple Intelligence”, which in turn demands increased performance as compared to current models of Mac computers equipped with chips.

Furthermore, the same source pointed out that iOS 18 will not be released for multiple generations of older iPad devices. The first-generation 10. 5-inch and second-generation 12. Apple Watch 2, the 9-inch iPad Pro, and the iPhone SE as well as those with the A10X Fusion chip on board will not be eligible for the update.
