Oclean X Pro Elite electric toothbrush Review

Oclean X Pro Elite electric toothbrush review – I’ve been using the new Oclean X Pro Elite electric toothbrush for the past two and half weeks now, and here are my thoughts on the electric toothbrush.

What do you get in the box?

  • 1 x Toothbrush
  • 1 x Brush Head
  • 1 x User Manual
  • 1 x USB Charging Cable
  • 1 x Charger & Holder

How’s the brush?

Coming from an Oral-B user for more than a decade, trying a new electric toothbrush is like driving a new car to me. It’s certainly different from what I’ve been used to.

Where the Oral-B electric toothbrush is a rotational-based movement and feels a bit harsh to your gum if you have sensitive gum as I do, this Oclean X Pro Elite feels much more gentle on my teeth and gum.

This IPX7 waterproof Oclean X Pro is using a custom magnetic brushless motor that can get up to 42,000 rounds per minute.

Plus, it’s very quiet (about 45db) compared to my old Oral-B electric.

It makes me want to brush my teeth more often which is encouraging to me and that’s exactly what happened. It has motivated me to brush my teeth after every single meal.

The bristles material are also DuPont™ Diamond Bristles which offers stronger cleaning power and should you run out of brush heads, you buy six of them at the Oclean website for A$38 (RRP A$56).

What are the features?

It comes with a large colour touchscreen to choose the cleaning mode (most electric toothbrushes need a button press to switch between modes or an app) and there are four modes to choose from: Clean, Sensitive, Massage, and White. I’ve tried all of them, and my favourite would be the standard cleaning mode.

It even has a timer and it stops at your preset time so that you won’t have to look at the timer while brushing your teeth.

Should you need to update the firmware, you’ll need to download the Oclean app and create an account.

The app also allows you to keep track of your brushing habits and gives you suggestions on how to improve your brushing.

How’s the battery?

After two and half weeks of daily usage, I’ve only charged it once on the first day and it’s at 38% as of now, so, the 800mAh battery is superb.

Oclean claims its battery to last up to 35 days of a single charge and it takes 3.5 hours for a full charge. The packaging comes with a slim, wireless charger which looks nice on the bathroom vanity as well. After brushing, simply place the toothbrush on the charger to charge it.

It also comes with a magnetic suspended wall mount so you can attach it on the wall with the 3M sticker. This saves space on your bathroom countertop.

Should you get one?

Yes, absolutely!

You can buy the Oclean X Pro Elite Electric toothbrush at the Oclean website for A$104 (RRP A$139) with free shipping and a 2-year warranty.
