Vista Service Pack 2 Public Betas Download
For those who are using Windows Vista and brave enough to install Service Pack 2 Public Beta, it’s available on Microsot’s Download Center. There is also a Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 Public Beta available on the same installation file.
Important things to note:
- You must already have the Service Pack 1 (Vista SP1) installed in the system before applying Service Pack 2. This is a requirement from Microsoft to reduce the file size.
- Don’t use Google Chrome browser to download because the download redirection will take you to the same page over and over
- You should be able to update this beta version to the official one (or the next beta) in the future, but I’m not 100% sure as I haven’t found such information yet. If anyone can confirm this, I’d be grateful.
