Upload files and serve your own Google AdSense ads
King Uploader allows you to upload your files on their online storage and then you can share the download link. Nothing new, right? Tons of these sites already. King Uploader, however, allows you to put your own 160×600 Google Adsense banner on the file’s download page.
King Uploader features:
- Unlimited disk space, so you can upload as many files as you want
- Can upload up to 1 GB size per file
- No download/bandwidth limit
- Your files will never get deleted, unless if a file is bigger than 100 MB and has no hits in 6 months.
Your AdSense banner can be seen here below:
However, with the top and left banners (not yours, but theirs), it may be hard to get your AdSense banner be clicked. If you want to squeeze every earning possibilities with your Google AdSense, however, then feel free to register for this web service.
Just ignore the non-professional looking site and the bear logo

It’s nice… but I won’t try it out. Too much I have wasted my time on the “complete the surveys get money” websites and the “keep a website on for 20 seconds and get 0.001 cents!”. I gave up on those, but a few months back joined Shareapic – almost exactly like the service above, but again, THEIR ads are shown (and popupped) and I simply get a few cents per 1000 views. So for me, simply not worth it.
What’s more, people will get annoyed. Maybe its just me, but I hate when bloggers/webmasters post a link to a cover/photo/image and when you click on it you don’t get send to a direct .png/.gif/.jpg link but simply to an image viewer (where’s there’s ads in every corner). Now if that’s annoying, imagine now that it’s not just an image viewer but a totally different site, with EVEN MORE annoying ads!
I might keep coming back on the site for the info, but I definitely wouldn’t click on their image links that’s for sure. And even if people did click, it’s hard to make an image popular – you can get a blog post or website popular, or even a comic, but not the kind of page where’s there’s lots of ads. If people do link it there, they’ll just right-click, select View Image, and submit the DIRECT link to Digg, not Shareapic’s page or King Uploader’s. Then again, some of these sneaky sites don’t allow that.
Oops, guess I rambled on. Sorry, just stating my opinions! It’s a nice idea, but definitely not worth it for me. =)
Yeah same here, buddy but most bloggers have search engine visitors and I guess they won’t mind to go to a page full of ads, as long as they can get what they want (I’m like that too)
But I’m using MediaFire.com at the moment for my shared files and I love the site so far
sorry but there’s no link to the king uploader in the post
You’re right, I’m sorry! I’ve updated the post with the linky
Hey, I think the bear is kind of cool!!
thanks for d info.
Thank You!
I think I’ll pass on this one. I tried many other sites, but unfortunately I just don’t have that much time. It looks like their banners drown out your adsense’s banners, so I wonder what the CTR would be?
I’d say very low..well you can use the service to save your bandwidth, I guess
This service is good because we can also put our own adsense ads and earn in someway but i don’t think we can earn a lot.
Well if they put our banner on the left, then there is a higher chance of it being clicked more often
Thanks for the heads up, Mike. Though I’m really keen to learn how you do the upload page that you sent me a while ago…
Oh ya, I’ve already sent you the file for your own personal use.

Who doesn’t want to his own boss anyway?
Thanks Yan. As for the upload page, it’s actually a simple open source script and very easy to set-up.
Your comment actually gives me an idea to make a post about the script
Great! I look forward to your post.
Yan
I have tried many services similar with King Uploader where we can earn money. But the earnings was way too low.
Yeah. AdSense is the only hope we have left.. but being a technology blogger like me, you know the amount of pennies we make
Can we trust kinguploader ?
Not too sure.. as I don’t actually use the service
Sounds like a great idea in theory, but in practice we still need traffic and for people to click on the ads. Also I doubt the ads will be really targeted.
I’ve found people randomly coming to my sites from e.g. social bookmarking sites never click on ads anyway. I think you would get the same type of traffic to King Uploader.
True, although you can “redirect” search engine visitors to KingUploader. But again, I don’t think you’ll be making much money with this
